Support Wild Mustangs & Burros

Every year, thousands of free-roaming wild mustangs and burros across the American West are rounded up by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in an effort to manage herd populations and protect public rangelands. But with far more animals gathered than resources available to support them, tens of thousands are currently in temporary holding facilities awaiting adoption and permanent homes.

One of our goals with Mojave Mini Donkeys is to give others the chance to experience firsthand the incredible creatures that donkeys are and their amazing value as companions. It doesn’t take much time spent with these loving, perceptive, intelligent animals to understand the importance of supporting the many that are in need.

We’ve had the pleasure of interacting with several amazing non-profit organizations local to us that accept donations to support their work in rescue, care, and rehabilitation of wild horses and burros. If you’ve been touched by our donkeys, we highly recommend checking out these amazing rescues in our area to learn more about their work, volunteer, plan a visit, or donate!
